Job description

As IT Support Engineer (m/f/d), you are part of the IT team and are responsible for installing and

maintaining computer hardware and software systems.

Your Tasks :

  • Responding to technical support tickets,

  • Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues,

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration,

  • Provide prompt and accurate feedback to colleagues,

  • Setting up and installing new computers, networks and software,

  • Installing updates, known as patches, to software applications,

  • Installing and configuring operating systems, anti-virus software and other applications such as,

  • Microsoft Office,

  • Diagnosing and fixing network problems and hardware or software faults,

  • Maintaining inventories of hardware and software,

  • Support the roll-out of new applications,

  • Managing backups, in case of data loss.

Job requirements

Your qualification :

  • You have at least 2 years' experience in this type of position,

  • Previous work experience as a technical support engineer or a similar role,

  • Experience in administration of mailing systems/mail servers,

  • Experience with administration of Google collaboration tools and/or Microsoft Office 365,

  • Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments,

  • Good understanding of computer systems and other tech products,

  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues,

  • Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software,

  • Experience with scripting (PowerShell),

  • Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal,

  • Excellent communication skills,

  • Critical thinker,

  • Good interpersonal skills,

  • English and French language proficiency (upper intermediate or higher).

Vos tâches :

  • Répondre aux tickets de support technique,
  • Rechercher et identifier des solutions aux problèmes de logiciels et de matériel,

  • Fournir un retour d'information rapide et précis aux collègues,
